A New York and Connecticut native, Amy boasts over 15 years of experience in interior design and gut renovation projects, collaborating with leading design and architecture firms across the tri-state area. Raised by an interior designer mother and a skilled carpenter father, her passion for transforming spaces began at an early age, blending artistry with craftsmanship.
Amy founded Amy Courtney Design in 2018, bringing her expertise and distinct aesthetic to a range of interior projects. Her exceptional work has been recognized in publications such as Elle Decor, House Beautiful, The Wall Street Journal, Brownstoner, Lonny, and Domino. She received her education and formal training from the International Academy of Design in Montreal, QC.
More recently, the firm has expanded into luxury real estate, staging units and designing amenity spaces throughout New York City, refining interiors to enhance market appeal and elevate the residential experience.
While the firm maintains a distinct aesthetic, each project is approached as a dynamic collaboration, balancing eclecticism, timelessness, and refined elegance.
